Opening Scene Set Up and Music

This post will establish my initial ideas for the opening of the film. These ideas will most likely change as I continue my research.
The scene will open in a large home. An upper-middle class couple is preparing for a night out. Typical conversation will go on between them for the first twenty to thirty seconds. Shots will be mostly medium and long shots showing off the nice house and the type of people. Then one of the long shots of the house will have a relatively large window in the background. The couple leaves, closes the lights, and the shot continues of the room for about ten to twenty seconds. There is close to no sound in this scene. Then we hear the window being opened from the outside. A small-framed silhouette crawls through the window with a crowbar in one hand and a large empty bag over his shoulder. At this point I have two different possibilities. The first is that he will step into the light and put on his headphones as music begins to play. This will hopefully establish the main character to the viewer. The other option is that he goes right into robbing the house with the music playing later on. Then we will cut to multiple takes of this character taking various things from the home. After several cuts for about thirty seconds he arrives at the kitchen. He is sloppy as he takes a hand full of food in one hand while continuing to steal with the other. While still chewing he looks through the pantry and grabs the most expensive looking bottle of alcohol he could find. If music has not played yet, it will start playing now. We cut back to him jumping back out the same window he came in through with a full bag. The scene is just as the couple left it. Now there is a short jump to the morning where we see our main character sipping the alcohol as he watches the sunrise from his make-shift home. The title will show as the camera zooms out showing the setting.
